A postnatal stay has to work for two people at once, and often for a third staying with them. Room layout, meal timing and who is awake at night are what decide whether that actually works.

The room is the decision
Listings publish room type, occupancy and whether the room is air-conditioned, and those three facts settle most of the experience. A room described as 'Mother + Baby + 2 Attender' is a different stay from a private single, and the price difference between them is usually the largest line in the quote.
Ask specifically about the bystander arrangement: whether it is a proper bed or a couch, whether meals are included for whoever stays, and whether visiting hours apply to family members.
What a package usually does and does not cover
The quoted price generally covers the room, meals and the centre's standard nursing care. Ayurvedic treatments, doctor visits, medicines and extra services are sometimes included and sometimes billed separately — this varies more between centres than anything else, and it is where quotes stop being comparable.
Get the inclusions in writing before you commit. Ask for the quote by stay length and room type, and have the centre itemise the rest.
